tree planting complete January 22nd 2009
All 1086 trees have been planted to produce the 5 metre wide "woodland" required as part of the conditions laid down by the Borough Council.
Pictured left are the 2 stalwarts of the planting scheme taken on January 22nd after the last of these trees was "puddled in".
Nine and a half months after land purchase.
Jim reports the following statistics:
13days when somebody has worked, ranging from 1 person to, on one occasion, five.
Total who have done at least one shift = 7
Man hours approx. = 135
Started Monday 8Dec completed Thurs 22.01.09.
Donations received £1075 with another £200 assured so far. £60 of donation in kind.
But,more donations from other members, teams, sections, families or groups welcomed.

There are now a limited number of copies of ‘Beauty and Her Beastie’ DVD’s at £15 each and these are available from Simon Plumb.
In addition there are also copies of 2007’s ‘Jack and His Beanstalk’ and 2006’s ‘Aladdin Lymm’ at £10 each or £30 for the box set of 3!
