SOCIALS - BEECHWOOD SUPPER CLUB

 

The increasingly popular supper club is well prepared to embark on what is sure to be another successful year. On four occasions, during the season, our members are provided with excellent food, good company and a rich diversity of speakers. Recent guests, from the world of sport, have included Peter Wheeler, Nigel Redman, Paul Fletcher and Graham Lloyd. Other raconteurs, such as Brendan Healey and Graham Walker have been extremely funny and hugely entertaining.

 

1Our resident compare, Phil Ratcliffe, continues to host these very special occasions with magnificent aplomb, whilst Paul Johnston and Roger Atherton ensure that the whole evening runs smoothly. Special mention, and thanks, must also be given to the ladies who undertake the all important unseen tasks. Brenda Johnston who controls the membership so efficiently and Angela Lord who produces the creatively designed menus that not only outline the culinary delights of the evening but furnish us with interesting facts about our guests.
